Resumo: dc.description.abstract | This paper had as its theme the study of learning situations available in the school material of São Paulo State for Science and Geography of elementary education II, thus comprising the 6th to 9th grade (5th to 8th grade). Our objective was to determine the presence of activities related to environmental education in the teaching-learning process proposed in the state curriculum, as well as their limits and challenges, appointed by both the research itself and the teachers contacted. We have analyzed the learning situations of both disciplines in order to develop an overview of the implementation of environmental education in São Paulo State schools and also to conduct a critical analysis and contribution to the material. We realize, among other things, the concentration of environmental education activities in science and geography in the 6th grade of primary education, followed by a gradual decline in dealing with the theme in the following years. This work was aimed to unravel some of the advances and limitations of São Paulo didactic material prepared in 2007 and direct use by students from 2009, given the low number of publications and debates on the subject. After the systematization of this brief survey, it was possible to identify the limits of generalization of learning material, which makes partially impossible dealing with local features, thus it is necessary an increasingly effective intervention of the teacher in the teaching-learning process, being the subject of environmental education illustrative I the case of local and regional dynamics. | pt_BR |
