Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe educational methods and the difficulties in adjusting a methodology that fits the teaching learning process were always issues that were thought and discussed a lot among educators. The process of alphabetizations needs methods that challenge and motivate the student to reach knowledge. This way, the present research broaches the importance of games and playing in the alphabetization process of students from the first year of primary school. In order to analyze if the way of learning alters itself when the work methods change, this research was done with a group of the first year of primary school from a public school of the city of Foz do Iguaçu, during the first period of the project applying the traditional methodology, with totally expositive classes, Xeroxed activities a activities from the book, and after this period a more ludic methodology, with the insertion of games correlated to the theoretical referential that allowed this research to reach the conclusions of this monograph. The result of this research proved that the ludic must be a part of the school environment and that the child learns much more naturally when the subjects proposed are applied through the use of games and playing, that is because playing is a part of the human beings’ quotidian. And the teacher always needs to search for new ludic means and materials, so that the child becomes more attentive and concentrated during classes, because the ludic methodology is beneficial to learning and dimish the situations of the indiscipline inside the school, because the games are made of rules and principles that mobilizes the child in the construction of his/her limits as a social being.pt_BR
