Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis work has as its theme the knowledge management and presents an analysis of how their models and concepts may help define appropriate indicators to promote continuous improvement of the process of guarantee of the products of a business. Presents as research problem as knowledge management can help in definition of indicators that can promote continuous improvement of the process of guarantee of the products. Its general goal is setting management indicators of adequate knowledge for this purpose. The methodology used is descriptive, allowing the definition of current sales processes, shipping, receiving and storage of the products thereof. Reasons happen exchanges of products and defined indicators that can help in ensuring continuous improvement of the same process, they are being presented: percentage of palletizing, degree of appropriateness of loading, level of faults detected upon receipt regarding the faults detected upon receipt, level of decreased of stoves that returned with the bottom/base broken, degree of customer satisfaction, grade of assessment of carrier and certification level. Finally, it presents guidelines for the implantation of a process of knowledge creation, using the model of Davenport and Prusak (2003). From the results, and the implementation of the indicators, it is possible to generate knowledge that can lead to lifelong learning in relation to the warranty process.pt_BR
