Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis work had the food how themed.The school period positively influences the formation of heathy eating habits, the legislation requires the provision of food at a time when the students are in schools through school feeding, contributing to the achievement of good habits, learning conditions, nutritional information based on the food pyramid, which allow to make better choise regarding proper relation nutrition.In this study,through questionnaires applied to students and staff of the Colégio Estadual do Campo Professora Margarida Franklin Gonçalves noted that 100% of those who consume school meal, including students,56,66% and 43% using it daily sometimes feed on the public school. Regarding the presence of frying 100% of employees said not once have this group, it was observed among students through following numbers: 100% of that sometimes feed, 94,11% of students who daily feed. The questionnaire noted the frequency of consumption of vegetables observed weekly by the students who eat daily 58,82% answered three times , twice 29,41% of which sometimes feed, twice 38,15% and 46,15% answered three times per week. This work demonstrates of that the school term influence positively the formation of eating habits, legislation guarantees students the provision of school meals, allowing learning conditions, knowing concepts of heathy eating, the food pyramid, and others on the subject, enabling them to make their choices as to adequate food, since it was found in the public school variety of foods on school menu.pt_BR
