Resumo: dc.description.abstractProduction of sustainable construction forms a scenario where wood I-joist beam occupy a prominence place, because of the possibility of utilization of wood that comes from reforested trees. The industrial process adds to products derived from wood features absent in solid wood, with more homogeneous structure and reduced defects, improved physical and mechanical properties, dimensional stability stable, Improving quality and increasing the reliability of wood structures. These features combined with using wood from fast-growing plantations and homogeneous and the best use of the log, make environmentally friendly products them, ensuring a strong consumer market. In this context, observing the great demand from the construction industry with new solutions that fit the concepts of constructive rationalization, the structures of wood and wood products have great potential to fill this space. The wood I-beam are manufactured by the industrial profiles bonding flanges and web. A critical part of I-joist is the web-to-flange joint. This study is to evaluate four different geometries of web-to-flange joint and analyze eight different resins shear strain in the specimens with the aim of analyzing the most efficient connection and possibility of using national resins, reducing the manufacturing cost. First was conducted a literature review, where the established geometry and materials used generally, then established four different geometries of web-to-flange joint and produced six specimens for each geometry and resin. As a result of the work shows the geometry that gave the best performance and the resistant resins were reliable and ease of manufacturing.pt_BR
