Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this article is to present an analysis of works by the Brazilian visual artist Myra Gonçalves that use 3x4 photographs from her family collection as materiality and result in images by chemical processes. The reflections arise from an interview with the artist and contributions from authors who dialogue with family photography, appropriation of images in contemporary art and the hybridity of processes in post-production. The artist's creation results from the transmutation of images into an appeal to the tactile, dealing with affective memories.pt_BR
