Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe current political, scientific and pedagogical context requires managers and the entire school community, a reflection on the educational management and its reflection on the process of teaching and learning. The manager's role should be grounded in the proposal of providing a support administrative and / or teaching character to improving the quality of education offered in public schools, with the aim of promoting the development of subjects and proactive participatory. This issue has been a major issue in the struggle of educators in defense of a quality school. The society is not indifferent to the events of the school, which has increasingly expected by an increasingly competent education institution. Thus, this study was subject to understand the contribution of the manager in the teaching-learning process so that the work done in the classroom and the relationships between the people who make up the school really conducive conditions and effective pedagogical actions in the development of educating. To better realization of scientific work, two surveys were conducted: a literature and other means of data collection, using a questionnaire as a resource, which was applied in one of the public schools of the state schools in the city of Londrina.pt_BR
