Comida, Comidinha: website e alimentação de crianças em idade escolar

Abstract

This paper presents the data and research of the Project entitled “Comida, comidinha: wedsite and food education for schoolchild”, with the purpose of defining a project that encourages children to have healthy and balanced food habits, by teaching the nutricional value of food, aiming children in school age. As the public of this project are school children, parents or responsible and also teachers, considering the school as an ideal place for learning about feeding and socialization. A methodological approach is used, guided by Design Thinking, and Human Centered Design (HCD), with the purpose of identifying the context of obesity in children, a problem that has taken alarmantes proportion. According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) one third of Brazilian children, between five and nine years old, is above the recommended weight according to the World Health Organization (WHO). It is intended to file the research process, to support the production of graphic products alternatives, printed, digital or audiovisual, informative, documentay or with instructional character. The research process is documented in order to give support to an alternative creation method of graphic, printed, digital or audiovisual products, of informational, documentary or instructional purposes. It was researched data and information about nutrition and obesity, and exemples of similar comunication. The delimitation of public and final design project for the problem was defined during the research. The final product is a informational website with projects about the theme of healthy nutrition aimed at parents and teachers.
