Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis document presents the development process of a board game targeted for elderly from Centro Dia Lar Santa Mãe Junshin, with the finality of proposing not only alternative moments of leisure, but also activities that can stimulate their cognitive and motor skills, enhancing the ludic aspect also in senior citizens, considered essential for the maintenance of physical and mental health of this group. The profile of the elderly in Brazil, as well as cognitive and motor aspects, are inputs that give us an overview of the brazilian reality, justifying the choice of theme and subsidizing part of the design practice. The methodology contemplated covers the research of existing games on the market, the identification of the most popular among those used by the elderly in home and the participation of the researchers together the elders on their recreation activities at Lar Junshin, an important approach in order to better understand the possibilities and limitations of the audience target, assisting the practice of the project. The adopted design methodology is based on some authors: Löbach on to define the main stages to the design process; Tim brown, by the design thinking approach and, in particular, the storytelling resource, Baxter with auxiliary tools, and Schell to think the empathy process applied on design. Also Salen and Zimmmerman were rescued by the importance of the "iterative" design feature that is “oriented to games”, consisting of cyclic stages of prototyping, evaluation, adjustment and test for then, at the junction, overlap or complement these elements, propose a specific game for this growing niche.pt_BR
