Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis theoretical-practical work has as main goal develop a serie of prints inspired by the culture of Colony Witmarsum, Paraná, taking as basis the aspects presentes in site, as landscape, architecture, animals, economic activities, habits and customs. The methodology was developed by the author, based on existing design project methodologies and divided into three phases: theoretical, conceptual and development. The theoretical research is by literature review, covering matters related to the Surface Design, culture, tourism and souvenirs in order to base the generation of alternatives.. Questionnaires and photographic records are used to identify cultural aspects of the place and guide more specifically the alternatives, including the main elements present. The theoretical base and analysis of similar guides the definition of the project's concept, below generating alternatives. There were initially made pencil drawings of the modules, which were then vectorized, repeated and organized, creating different visual effects of prints, even in black and white Having created the prints, 6 alternatives have been selected to make the color studies. Of the color combinations were then selected the final alternatives that followed for the application project and prototyping of selected items. The choice of products that received the application was made by a peculiar feature of Colony Witmarsum, which is the appreciation of the habit to gather at the table during meals So are products that refer to the kitchen and dining room environment, emphasizing the aspect of family living. As a result, there is a cluster of three prints, that relating to three aspects of Colony Witmarsum (architecture, crafts and landscape). It is stamped on dishes, a set of placemats and dishcloth, and pillows as local souvenir suggestion.pt_BR
