Resumo: dc.description.abstractFrom the Formula SAE Brazil project, was designed and built a seat for the car of the formula UTFPR ́s Imperador team. Within this process techniques were used for models production through CNC machining, mold extraction techniques by the model, finish to the mold, lamination of composite manually and by vacuum infusion, as well as a tool for the latter, ergonomic analysis and also development tool for specific analysis. The seat has been designed as a user interface being indicated adjustments and change in the structure. As examples, the seat position, pedals and belt anchor points. The process followed the implementing the requirements of SAE for the competition. The analysis continues of user needs and conflicts with the standard prompted the need for a second project, where the diversification of dimensions was the alternative found for meet the need to meet from the 5th percentile female to the 95th percentile male. Construction of models was performed by machining expanded polystyrene with a CNC milling machine. This has size workpieces limitations for be machined generating an alternative machining layered pieces that allowed assembly and obtain more accurate model, to the modeled product in the 3D modeling program. The manual lamination of the composite also showed itself little functional by the magnitude of the project being the learning and application of vacuum infusion necessary. These points have resulted in products with satisfactory quality finishes. A technics and methodology used allows application in other products the same category.pt_BR
