Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe study was titled digital media, emphasizing the use of the same in the pedagogical practice of teachers who work in the discipline of Science in Elementary Education. Knowing that the computer has advanced in recent years both in the corporate field as in the educational field, it can become a means for the realization of this new methodological referrals for discipline, requiring the teacher's interest in participating in continuing education and the search by new knowledge of how to manipulate this tool pedagogical support. The methodological procedures were qualitative and quantitative research based on case study, targeting teachers and students in public two State Colleges Municipalities Iracema do Oeste and the Jesuits. To collect data semistructured questionnaires to be answered by the audience, performing tabulating the data in graphs, measuring this way the use of media resources by teachers in teaching practice were used. The results were significant because they showed that science teaching can become attractive, differentiated with the use of media, but the teacher should seek to improve their knowledge by attending continuing education courses in order to use media in the classroom in the discipline of Sciences.pt_BR
