Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis work has thematic development in Environmental Education in elementary education schools in the area for Araras-SP, where a bibliographic analysis of the projects in schools education foundation, where we selected two projects that stood out because of its impact was conducted in community and continuing education of teachers involved in them. After analyzing the comparative table, the field trip was conducted in both, two of them were interviewed, and a representative from each school following a formulated script so identifying the continuity of the projects surveyed. Comparing the interview, noted that the project activities A (Playing Recycling) still applied Alternatively reuse of recycled materials in the development of the workshop theme: Environmental Education in the development of composting , medicinal garden , vegetables and seasonings. Already the project B (popular participation in forest restoration in the Ararinha forest located in Araras-SP) , there was no continuity in the school , but the "Ararinha Forest", became the scene of several popular stocks with encouragement from other schools and support the municipal government . With the data analysis it was realized that the comprehensive education with the development of workshops on opposite schedule of the curriculum and essential to the development of environmental education, providing the experience of school experiences resulting in Science Teaching in all subjects.pt_BR
