Resumo: dc.description.abstractFutsal is a sport that requires high levels of performance. for this reason, it is required proper distribution of training loads properly monitored. The aim of the study was to correlate the responses of heart rate (HR) and subjective perception of effort (PSE) during a session of small games of futsal and cardiopulmonary exercise stress test on a treadmill. Twenty 15/16 and 13/14 yearS OLD ATHLETES OF FUTSAL from Curitiba were evaluated. Anthropometric data (height, body mass), and body fat% by Dual Energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA). Assessment of fitness (oxygen consumption, abdominal muscle strength, standing long jump, agility and anaerobic power) were collected. Then the athletes underwent five sessions of training in standardized FUTSAL small games: three small 2x2 games, with WELL-RESTED athletes in a space of 15x30 feet, with two beams and two goalies, one in each goal. Two small 3x3 games with the same characteristics of the previous. Games consisted in trying to overcome the opponent and finish against the same goal. The time duration of each series was 3 minutes with a 5 minute recovery for all small games. In each series, the values of HR (Polar ® Electro Oy) were collected, and PSE (UTTER et al, 2004). Data were entered directly into SPSS version 21.0 and analyzed using descriptive statistics (minimum, average, maximum and standard deviation) and Spearman (Rho). The average results obtained were: weight of 47.8 (± 11.4), height of 1.6 (± 0.4), BMI 18.7 kg / m2 (± 2.38), fat mass 10, 0 kg (± 3.0) and lean body mass of 37.6 kg (± 9.64). Regarding physical fitness yielded average results: Horizontal Thrust 180.3 cm (± 18.0), agility 10.2 seconds (± 0.6), speed 10 meters in 2.0 seconds (± 0.0) , 15 meters 2.95 seconds (± 0.2), 20 meters 3.4 seconds (± 0.5), abdominal repetitions 42.6 (± 4.4), VO2 51.8 (± 4.9) and speed from Léger et al test (1988) 12.1 km / hr (± 1.0). The percentages of HR ranged from 65.0 to 138.8, with average beats going from 96.6 to 103.9, median 98.6 to 103.6 per minute. The PSE presented the minimum and maximum values of 4 to 10. The correlation between the collected PSE and HR at the end of the small games ranged from weak (r=0.19; p <0.20) to moderate intensity (r =0.48;p<0.01) in all the analyzed variables, only two showed significant correlations, at the end of the third 2x2 game session (r = 0.48; p <0.01) and at the end of the second 3x3 game session (r= 0.39; p <0.04). In the cardiopulmonary test the value of HR and PSE correlated with low magnitude (r=0.15; p<0.26). It was concluded that the values of PSE and HR were positively correlated, although only in two instances they were significant, at the end of the third and second series of (2x2) and (3x3) small games, respectively.pt_BR
