Resumo: dc.description.abstractInclusive Education was developed in the mid-70, involving far beyond people with disabilities, also the family, society as a whole and the school, so it is a great social challenge, especially for educational institutions. The focus of this study is to identify challenges and opportunities with respect to the inclusion of students with special needs in initial and continuing education courses, technical and technological level, Campus Jacarei, the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP). In this way it was intended to evaluate the process of integration of these students in the educational context. This is a case study, a qualitative analysis of exploratory, based on literature search to identify laws and documents on the process of inclusion in the said unit. Once the expected educational institutions is the inclusion, with a view to mission IFSP, the Campus Jacarei, has proved in line with this demand, both in the ideals, as the effective measures, despite being under implementation and with little operating time, was placed in the right direction.pt_BR
