Uma análise do plano diretor municipal de Concórdia/SC e suas proposições ambientais

Abstract

This work had as theme to analyze the main environmental propositions present in Master Plan of Concordia - Santa Catarina, from observing the evolution of Brazilian urbanization, to understand the current structure of cities, until the regulatory instruments of urban land use as the Statute of the City and the Master Plan itself, after two years of review of it, analyzing its applicability. The goal was to identify and analyze the main environmental problems diagnosed in the city and the solutions proposed in its Master Plan, through its legislation in the area of environmental management and review guidelines, propositions, actions and investments planned for the municipality in this area. The methodology used was the bibliographic and documentary survey related to this topic and analysis of information collected. As main results, we highlight the trend of accelerated and disordered urban sprawl and the risk of occupation of environmentally unsuitable areas, thus becoming the main challenge in implementing the Master Plan, and Sanitation sector as the major target of action of the proposed measures. In conclusion, it is necessary a great technical and political commitment to the applicability of the long-term environmental propositions in Concordia, with emphasis on sanitation as a key factor, but not the only, in improving the living conditions of the population.
