Resumo: dc.description.abstract | This work was thematic study on working with games in early childhood education. When the teacher organizes its educational action, taking the game as a tool to achieve certain goals he happens to have the feature of teaching materials and child at play creates an imaginary activity to emerge as a powerful tool in the development process. The child placed before play situation can grasp the logical structure of reality through play and thus appropriates. Thus, the aim of this study was to investigate and present the games as learning resources linked to the production of knowledge and playfulness, allowing exploration and knowledge building child establishing the difference between the rules of games, recreational games and pranks make -believe, which has intensified in school and have shown efficacy in the development of the cognitive processes of learners. The methodology used in developing this study was a literature search and also a field research in one of the early childhood education centers in the city of New London, for the purpose of collecting data for analysis of the design of the teachers who work in the stage of early childhood education about work with playfulness, specifying work with games. The research result is positive, because there is the understanding of the children's teachers about what are the educational games and their importance in the development of children. | pt_BR |
