Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe Alkali-Aggregate Reaction (AAR) is a chemical reaction that occurs between the cement’s alkali ions and some chemical elements present in the mineral composition of some types of aggregates. The Alkali-Aggregate Reaction is complex and there are many interacting and interdependent parameters, which influence its occurrence, and it can lead to expansions, which cause cracking, increase permeability, decrease the traction and compression’s resistance, as well as the young modulus, reducing the lifespan of concrete structures. To predict changes in the concrete structure, use of numerical modeling through parametric model presents results with a good degree of approximation to real structures, which is used in this work, along with the Finite Element Method for elasticity problems. The application developed analysis a linear elastic solid, and after inclusion of structural changes due to the AAR, it can calculate the deformations, displacements and stresses of a concrete structure. This application was developed in Fortran language using three-dimensional finite elements. The validation of the program was done by varying the displacement over time in relation to the results presented by ANSYS® and the analytical method. It can be noticed that the developed application can describe properly the behavior of a concrete structure subjected to alkali-aggregate reaction.pt_BR
