Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis work was thematic experimentation in teaching science, its related fields and their contribution to teaching and learning. Was developed in the city of Campina Grande do Sul - Pr, with the second year students of night schools, through classes with trials. The experimental classes seek to enhance learning, because many times the student is unable to associate scientific knowledge learned in theory and practice in their daily lives. This work aims through lessons involving experimentation, awakening the interest and attention of the student to the teacher's explanation; minimize the problems faced in schools by teachers and students in the teaching- learning process; form citizens with critical thinking and raise the quality of classes making them more attractive and dynamic, where the student can relate the content acquired in the classroom with their daily lives. The work was carried out in the following steps: perception of students as experimental classes, his vision of class through experimentation; research by students about scientific experiments; presentation of a scientific experiment; discussion and analysis of the experience; report of the experience; questionnaire. According to the survey, 100 % of students believe that the lesson through experimentation is important for learning and the majority recognizes that education would be harmed in the absence of this kind of class. In the opinion of 60 % of the students lack of classes through experimentation, undermine their learning, because they would lose the opportunity to associate knowledge studied with reality, and make the classes more dynamic. 40% of students believe that what is being learned in the classroom with experimentation can be used in your life, because through experimentation can relate the theoretical content with my daily life and in the opinion of 87 % of the students, which could help to improve the process of teaching-learning would increase the number of classes using experimentation. Thus, we conclude that the trial is important for the process of teaching and learning resource, as had a positive and significant result, through participation, motivation and performance of students.pt_BR
