Resumo: dc.description.abstractExist which help children and adolescents experience or become dependent on alcohol or consumerist, may be biological, psychological and social origin, which are influenced by friends or family. There are also other factors that contribute to this to occur, such as the influence of subcultures and fashions of life's problems. The habit of drinking can cause several damages to the individual, such as job performance, psychological functioning and social relations. Thus, according to several studies, the consumption of alcohol by students may result in poor academic performance. However, much depends on the degree of dependence that the user can have with alcohol so that it gives more importance to the consumer than for social relations. This scientific study consisted of a survey in the form of questionnaires to a number of 40 students who attend the morning and afternoon of the 6th to 9th grade in the State College "X " in the city of Goioerê / Pr to meet the following objectives, identify reasons why students interviewed have experienced or are consuming alcohol, and even if this habit of consumption interferes with the normal pace of schooling. The results for the interview allowed the confirmation of scientific facts in the literature on this subject. Confirmed that regular consumption of alcohol by students interviewed as interference factor in school performance can not be guaranteed , as there are other factors , such as indiscipline , lack of interest , depression , relationship problems and personal with the teacher , besides the influences of friends and family . Other data also showed that, for the fact that the students and their parents are not alcoholics, but , consumers consume only once a week or month. Also proved by figures which showed to be greater the amount of students who belong to the afternoon compared to the morning who consume alcohol frequently so and who failed a grade. Finally, it was also found to answer 99% of the alcohol did not affect the pace school.pt_BR
