Resumo: dc.description.abstractAnimals of easy visualization grant to the viewers several faces of the importance of the preservation and conservation of the environment, are, still, excellent bioindicators, having teachers as reference the population of the birds existing around the school. With the observation of the birds, the young is instigated to realize the presence of animals in their living environment, beyond comprehend the relation between the fauna and flora. The trophic diversity can represent great contribution in the ecological context of the terrestrial environments based in the around of the schools and the own environment where these students live. The birds are used in numerous projects of evaluation of environment quality in various cities of the whole world, denoting great potential to apply in school. The list elaboration of the birds population from the teacher, with the utilization of simple and economic equipment, serve as an option to apply in the development of practical classes of these disciplines, important in the affirmation of school knowledge, taking students to comprehend the process in transformations that occur in the nature and draw conclusions of these transformations and how can act in these process and as integrant of a society that gradually modify the natural environment, as citizen, develop capacity of intervention of these modifications. Thus, this job this work had as its theme the identification of the bird population occurring in residential neighborhood called Vila “A”, in Foz do Iguassu, Parana, to model the application of knowledge by teachers of Science and Biology in various content of these disciplines in the development of the same, based in ecology and biology of the species.pt_BR
