Resumo: dc.description.abstractPhysical education in the early grades seeks to assist the student in developing their motor skills and physical capabilities. We have to face this subject as a separate one from others; it has its right time and must be respected. Very often is faced in schools the lack of teacher applying specific activities and guiding students. This bibliographical research proposes to analyze the need for physical education class in the early grades to be taught by teachers licensed in physical education. The school must ensure their role in educating their participation in the classes that will offer subsidies to learning, providing support and teacher support discipline in exercising its function in order to nurture the child to experience the maximum movements, ensuring develop their skills and physical abilities, motor, sensory and affective. It is clear that in many schools happen to the replacement of licensed physical education teacher for people with skills and demonstrations in areas like knowledge and even unskilled persons occupying the vacancy to cover the absence of the teacher. This may have consequences for students who participated in activities often not grounded in goals and meanings, is the lack of discipline targeted content, using this period as recreation and pastime and failing to meet the legend, even jumping phases and steps necessary for the child to grow by developing and exploring all the possibilities of movement. For child development and quality learning is highlighted that a qualified professional brings knowledge and can be applied to understand and analyze the individual needs of each child received at school. For that several publics and others institutions are already including in their programming and framework for teaching the teacher's specific area of physical education and this requires continued education to ensure students safety of a teaching-learning quality.pt_BR
