Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis research aims to reflect on the importance of technology in the process of teacher education as a way to encourage the qualification of teaching and learning in classrooms. Search also check how recent technological breakthroughs may contribute to the development and training of teachers, pedagogues and school agents. Backedby a proposal for a comparative study between the media and pedagogical practices that are being used by teachers in the school context, performs a reflection about education and what has that search, that is, an education which will give meaning to society practices with innovative, creative and fundamentally human. This work builds on research conducted in Municipal Schools and Child Education Centers City Diamante do Norte, State of Parana. The answers obtained either allowed achieving results and opinions that educators have about the technological resources that schools have offered to improve the quality of education. The data, once collected and analyzed, indicating that the use of technology has taken hold among educators and these, in turn, recognize that it is necessary for professionals involved in the educational process a training set in continuous training in order to prepare to deal with the technology, because the use of such equipment that contributes to student learning becomes significant.pt_BR
