Resumo: dc.description.abstractAiming an interesting application of visual communication with advertising and/or informational purposes, it was developed a system composed of low consumption Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) panel, which the displayed message is controlled remotely.Furthermore, the system will contain a photovoltaic panel responsible to supply energy for the LED panel and charging the battery module. This module will feed the system when the photovoltaic panel is unable to supply energy. Initially, the work involves in-depth study of a system that can take advantage of the most of available solar energy, targeting low power consumption and high reliability. To optimize battery life, it was chosen the best option for the implementation of the project, together with efficient methods of charge and discharge of the same. The consumption monitoring of the system was of great importance for the project. Most of the energy consumption comes from the LED panel, so it was convenient to adequately select the most appropriate way to power on the LEDsand at the same time display a clear view of the information. The message contained in the panel will be updated remotely, via wireless communication and can be edited through a simple software interface compatible with a compact transmitter module connected via USB to a computer. The field of application of this proposal is vast and can be used in various commercial establishments such as: gas station sign, road signs, among others. The project was conducted in order to exhibit a fuel price of an auto gas station.pt_BR
