Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe development of diseases generated by pathogens in strawberry cause product deterioration, produce significant economic losses in several sectors of the economy. Among the pathogenic diseases in this culture highlights the gray mold, caused by the fungus Botrytis cinerea. Currently have tried to plant pathogens control alternatives that are less harmful to the environment. In this context include the propolis which has actions such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial, with its antimicrobial action is related to flavonoid compounds present in its constitution. This study aimed to obtain extracts of propolis in nature, in various types of solvents with varying polarity and evaluate the antifungal action of these on the Botryts sp. fungus. For the study, three strawberry samples were used, two from conventional farming and hydroponic growing, and the fungus, Botrytis genus, was also used an identified strain of Botrytis cinerea, was isolated directly from these samples. The propolis extracts were prepared with different liquid extractors of different polarity at different concentrations with which the microbiological analyzes were performed. Were also carried out physico-chemical analysis for the characterization and quality control of propolis raw and obtained extracts. The results obtained by physicochemical analysis for the characterization of propolis had values similar to the legislation for each of the parameters, the microbiological analysis the extracts tested in the Botrytis cinerea fungus and the fungus hydroponic strawberry, only the aqueous extracts, hexane, ethyl for each of the parameters, microbiological analyzes in the extracts tested, and botrytis in strawberries hydroponic fungus, only the aqueous extracts, hexane, ethyl acetate showed growth effect against both tested fungi. The isolated fungus conventional strawberry was more resistant to some statements in relation to other microorganisms.pt_BR
