Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe creation of a database to generate a history for the company aims to improve the construction planning, improving their assertiveness, as it uses real data as a basis, reflecting in more reliable schedules. This research aimed to create a cycle of continuous improvement in the process of construction planning through a company’s database. The method is based on the record of important information using an app for tablets and smartphones, dissemination, compilation and analysis of data. The strategy adopted was to analyze data collected in two buildings constructions, generate a report of problems, suggesting solutions to solve problems are not become recurrent, so business results become more effective. It was observed that most of the problems reported by the studied constructions would be corrected with the implementation of BIM modeling system, which facilitates the visualization of projects and their errors, identifies interferences between projects, improves communication between all stakeholders, facilitate the extraction of quantitative, budgeting, planning and the coordination of information, since it generates a single database. In the created process, another important tool is the display screens of records in the office and construction environments so the problems become shared and with a greater number of people involved in the search for preventive and corrective solution of the problems, the degree assertiveness increases and the solutions become more effective. It is noticed that slowly the acceptance of the data collection process by teams improved, and after identifying the results will be even more motivated. The deployment process is complicated because these do not always see the benefit that this practice generates, so it is important that data be exposed, discussed and that the results are widely disseminated, becoming an incentive for the database progress. With an understanding of the process output data also become more consistent.pt_BR
