Resumo: dc.description.abstract | A mobile device is capable of causing the explosion of a fuel? In this work we addressed the influence of an electromagnetic wave emitted by a monopole antenna of a quarter wavelength over a defined volume of fuel, particularly gasoline. An antenna dissipates in Near Field and Far Field. The interest of this work is in the Near Field, which is thought to be responsible for the explosion of the device by electromagnetic waves. There is not a scientific consensus that the use of a mobile phone can be considered a risk factor in areas with high explosive potential. For this, the dissipation of electromagnetic waves from a mobile device at time of peak, where the field strength is increased, using nominal data devices marketed in Brazil were studied. Also, was chosen an antenna with pre-defined equations, which were adapted to approach the real values of the dissipation devices, found on some user manuals. To reach a conclusion about the possibility of explosion, it was necessary to study the thermodynamic behavior of fuels, particularly gasoline in the vapor state. As dependent variables had to room temperature, concentration of air / fuel chosen for study volume, density of the mixture of the elements, electrical conductivity and other less relevant information, but no less important. Had to be created in a computer environment, a program that calculates the energy dissipated by the antenna, and compare it with data from manuals. Thus, the goal was initially to find the current flowing through the device antenna. Later, simulate what is the activation energy required to cause the explosion of fuel, and finally to verify, with the current found, the energy emitted is sufficient or not to initiate the explosion of fuel. | pt_BR |
