Análise das macrozonas do plano diretor do município de Cascavel – Paraná: aspectos físicos e de gestão

Abstract

The urban and rural development depends closely of planning and management rigorously grounded, among other things, in the potential of the soil and municipal vocation. Thus, to understand the relationship between the planned and the physical aspects of the environment was aimed in this paper the analysis of master plan’s macrozones of Cascavel - Parana, using criteria of slope, soil types, land use and environmental vulnerability. This last being in accordance with the methodology proposed by Santos et al. (2007). Furthermore, was possible to add suggestions about municipal strategic planning and other questions relating to the maps of the master plan. It was found that according to the soil type and its uses and to the slope, that the city exhibit adequate compatibility and assertiveness in planning. It was also noticed that much of the area has a slope of up to 20%, which reinforces its agricultural potential and gives more emphasis to its relevance in grain production. Finally, there are some needs in mechanisms to operationalize the master plan as well as some necessary changes in the maps of the master plan to facilitate understanding and interaction between citizens and the city managers.
