Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe soil organic matter is a component of great importance for the development of plants and micro -organisms. Severe soil heating is a factor that can change the characteristics of soil organic matter. During heating the soil properties related organic matter are changed the microorganisms can be eliminated, among other characteristics that can also be changed. The characterization by infrared spectroscopy with Fourier transform and the absorption of ultraviolet- visible light to assess the soil organic matter from the point of view of quality, Thus the aim of this study was to analyze samples of humic acid extracted from soil under no-tillage management at different depths ( 0-5 , 5-10 and 10-20 cm ) after subjected to heat treatment ( 25 , 100 , 160 to 200 ° C ) by spectroscopic analysis. The results obtained in this work can be considered innovative , since so far have not been reported in the literature study on the heat treatment applied to the soil. Thus by means of the characterization of humic acid by Fourier transform infrared was observed that temperatures above 100 ° C may well influence the composition of soil organic matter. These temperatures it was verified that the intensity of peaks and bands decreased with increasing temperature, probably caused by the partial degradation of organic matter. Corroborating these results also showed that by spectroscopic analysis of light absorption in the UV-visible region it was observed that with increasing temperature decreases the degree of humification. The data sets were treated with chemo and these through principal component analysis (PCA) and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) showed separation of the sample into four groups , according to the temperatures which were submitted .pt_BR
