Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe difficulties observed by teachers and students in the chemistry’s teaching-learning process are notorious. These difficulties have been frequently discussed in the literature. Thus, the observation and analysis of methodologies adopted for the teaching chemistry can bring satisfactory results in terms of these characteristics. Thus, the present work had as main objective, to point out the main differences between traditional teaching methodology and learning workshops adopted by particular schools in the city of Pato Branco. For this, school visits were made, with the objective of accompany the teacher’s work development in different classes, observing: (1) the classes dynamics; (2) the relationship of teacher-student interaction , student-student; (3) the evaluation process . Visits were also required to take cognizance of documents used by the institution such as curriculum, syllabus , material used by teachers in the classroom and applied reviews room. Thus, the study revealed that the analyzed methodologies are quite similar, showing strong similarities in the documentation reviewed, as well as behavior in the classroom, student-student and student- teacher.pt_BR
