Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis paper proposes the analysis of evaluative instruments and quality indicators used in distance education. Describe the evaluation regarding the way it works and its importance, contextualize its application on promoted courses from UTFPR – Parana´s Federal Technological University. Expose the tools in use to evaluate performance, having in mind the several elements that are involved. Evidence the needs and importance to use the evaluative instruments and quality indicators on the improvement of the management system proper and also on adopted pedagogical systems. This study limits to the study of tools used to identify the quality on distance education taking in consideration the data provided by the university as a way to comply with this study´s objective initially was adopted the research methodology reviewing theoretical fundamentals, with bibliographical basis to conceptualize the distance education, understand how employs in Brazil and identify the evaluation system used on the courses of the education modality, and after from a practical order, throw qualitative analysis, exploratory and descriptive, identify the evaluative tools and the quality indicators used by UFTPR, using the data collection the tool to obtain a consistent case study with wealth knowledge. With basis on : “Quality referential to distance education” was possible to compare this material criteria that was published by MEC to the ones used on the university. The studies goals were achieved, and made it clear that the use of evaluative instruments and quality indicators are improvement tools of quality management of university systems and that are still in maturity process and fortification.pt_BR
