Resumo: dc.description.abstractSports marketing has grown greatly in recent years, as well as the sports industry due to the great interest from companies wanting to sponsor events and sports clubs, and major events are held here in Brazil and the enhancement of physical education and health. This study aims to raise the profile of companies working with sports marketing in the city of Curitiba. We used the method of data collection, and the qualitative research and quantitative descriptive. The sample consisted of 11 companies in the field of sports marketing and 74 professionals working in these agencies. To profile the company has done an interview with the directors and marketing managers and to profile the work we used a questionnaire with 11 questions prepared by the researcher. As the profile of companies, concluded that companies are on average ten years of existence, which perform training for their employees. Its main customers are industries, especially food and the service providers in the communication area. The main profile is the professional man, marketing assistant, has between 26 and 30 years, graduated in Business Administration. This study enabled a deeper knowledge of an area that has been increasing in recent years and becoming more professional, making the sport in evident in the market and very profitable as a businesspt_BR
