Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis work discusses about the importance of school-family integration in the educational process to a quality education. The methodology was exploratory research with analysis of questionnaires issued to teachers and students of a public high school, where was found that the school-family relationship is essential, since the family as space orientation and the construction of individual identity, must promote the school along with a partnership in order to contribute to the integral development of the child and teenager. The study shows the school reality in the vision not only of students but also for teachers. The lack of interest in class and in education in general, the change request of the students that teachers change the way they target the education, not using the method of memorizing, but more dynamics and differentiated lessons for students. On the other hand, the vision of teachers: lack of respect from teenagers, lack of commitment with schedules, and lack of support from the state to improve the level of classes. What call more attention is that both parts, all tell about the lack of interest from parents in the school, the participation of parents in the school life of young people is essential for the formation of the individual, as respect, discipline, participation and interest learnt at home, are also done at school classes.pt_BR
