Resumo: dc.description.abstractEnvironmental education appears as one of the likely strategies for coping with abnormal twofold order of civilization, cultural and social. Its probability analysis and emancipation tends to trigger a tangle of procedures in which the demand for individual and collective cultural and social transformations are linked and intertwined. The openings between the Government and the school community place the state as complicit in this process of change in status that is Brazilian society. In the environmental field, the state has matured cover regulatory standards. Environmental education plays, therefore, a process where the state and civil society, giving greater significance to public policies through dialogue. In this sense, the construction of environmental education as public policy is practiced by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) and the Ministry of Environment (MMA), but suggests applying direct intervention methodologies, regulations that strengthen the articulation of different social actors (in areas: formal and non-formal education). Experience in practice with children with special needs, care they can have with the food we eat, how to preserve the environment they live in, with simple actions, such as separating garbage, give target those who harm the health, well like where does the water they drink and the care for its quality and purity is trying to teach and help them along with their families there is preservation of life of human beings and the Earth.pt_BR
