Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe environment is an overarching theme of great importance and should be worked in schools, paradigms, attitudes concrete with the participation of all. It was intended to work with that offer suggestions for practical activities temaEducação Environmental and health and aimed to reuse the waste at school and home, offering the concept of sustainability in a fun and enjoyable for the students, the practice of directing preservation of the environment, with the opportunity to learn, participate and collaborate mainly to let the school environment more beautiful and healthy. Thus, in the school, there was the integration of the contents of the Teaching Plan appropriate methodology. Occurred during development work several steps, the first being a survey directed to parents and students to meet the dietary habits and knowledge about sustainable practices performed in daily life. The survey results showed that most children do not have a balanced diet and do not practice physical activities. In return the parents and students find it very important to preserve the environment. Based on data obtained began work there student participation in extracurricular activities and community education class in a comprehensive manner and also the opportunity to foster partnerships between enterprises and government agencies that are extremely important in the projects of escolares.È extremely important that new generations participate actively in environmental projects in school and in the community to make them feel part of the environment and understand the true integration that exists between man and nature. Thus, over time there are significant changes of values by students through active participation, becoming more aware and able to cause significant changes to protect and improve the environment around them and also learn to consciously use natural resources thereby fostering improved quality of life.pt_BR
