Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis work took the use of the text book as a theme in the classrooms of sciences and the analysis of his contents as for approach of the system digestive. The reflection on the use of the text book is something that while passing of the years has been gaining more emphasis when for the dissociation of the same thing is looked to a tool of political and ideological education. In the years 90 this discussion has distinction, but it is from the creation of the Parameters Curriculum National and the creation of the basic teaching of 9 years that the demands for this new phase of the education they drove a new conscience on the text books. From a sampling of text books of the 5th year of the basic teaching of the principal Brazilian publishers, the growing preoccupation can be realized in adapting them to the objectives and proposals of the Parameters Curriculum National for this segment. Text books previous to creation of the Parameters Curriculum National demonstrate the existence of that teaching of Sciences systematic and memorized, without making possible the real apprenticeship to the students, which contributes to the prejudice which many pupils still have regarding this teaching. There is clear the importance of the teachers of sciences they analyse the books before being chosen to be used by them themselves, checking if same certain necessary requisites have to favor a good apprenticeship in the teaching of sciences.pt_BR
