Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe e-commerce - Internet use to buy and sell products - emerged in Brazil in mid- 1995 and had as pioneers bookstores. Despite the doubts generated about reliability, security, transportation, quality and product delivery, financial transactions data show that the growth of e-commerce is happening exponentially. The changes in the lifestyle of the population, the problems associated with urban mobility, insecurity in terms of assaults and robberie, ease of choice, among other factors have contributed to enlarge the purchases made through the systems available on the Internet. Therefore, the development and the emergence of stores selling products through the World Wide Web, facilite the procurement process and optimize the consumer time. The traditional way of buying has the advantage of the consumer to feel, taste and try products, but currently there are many technologies provided by shops that closely approximate the feeling of actual purchase by users. So, with great growth of electronic commerce, the Internet becomes a useful means for negotiation between the customer and the merchant. Thus, the Internet becomes a useful tool for negotiation between sellers and consumers. This paper presents an e-commerce system for selling wallpaper, modeled in UML and developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The system allows the realization of shopping for customers and provide a range of facilities for business management through an administration panel.pt_BR
