Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to demonstrate how learning is the teaching of mathematics. Presenting their difficulties, data analysis and proposals for differentiated learning methodology that can help students overcome them and improve the quality of teaching it. The mathematical model was used as an alternative and differentiated methodology mode breaking mechanics to learn mathematics. The school has a role function and social inclusion, thus reinforcing an exercise in art it is the duty of educating the family and the state as a nation. The student is receptive to the subject of basic knowledge for the preparation of their personal and professional life. Develop and enhance his knowledge is that he can survive in the environment in which it lives. The educational work must be based on the commitment that the school should take their students beyond the common sense and get to the improved knowledge about reality. This is to ensure access to knowledge. Teachers need to transmit the scientific knowledge in a way that is respected the diversity of students and plan educational proposals that do pique the interest of students. The follow-up, the attention of teachers and parents coming intrinsically contribute in the identification, as well as helping to propose situations that may help overcome or reduce the difficulties in learning mathematics. The research work was carried out in a public school in applying the knowledge in statistics at school, built with information from teachers and students. There appears a proposed activity and interdisciplinary mathematical modeling to evaluate or verify the performance of students. Is found, that as data analysis by the teaching staff there is a deficit of mathematical knowledge in which students are not trained sufficiently. There is no specific difficulty is attributed to one student or several, but the dynamic moment that is in every school environment, or the classroom.pt_BR
