Resumo: dc.description.abstractIn recent years was noticed a large development in the use of precast slabs in the Brazilian market. Some of these structural elements have been produced with big slenderness. It provides the appearance of vibration problems during the life of the building, causing physiological discomfort to users. So it’s important do the dynamic analysis of structures in the design stage. The objective of this work is the evaluation of the vibration in precast reinforced concrete floor slabs due to human walk. A review of the national and international literature has been done to identify necessary properties and standard limits to classify the human comfort. To know the dynamic performance of these slabs, is analyzed a series of five slabs, varying the ratio between the spans. The structural design of the slabs was made following by the Brazilian concrete standard NBR 6118 (ABNT, 2003). Dynamic analysis of these slabs is studied using a computer program, developed by the author, based on Newmark method in order to obtain the history of displacement, velocity and acceleration of the slabs, to compare with normative parameters. After doing the analysis dynamic of these slabs was concluded that the acceleration calculated was according with the parameters of comfort proposed in standard ISO 2631-2 (ISO, 1989). In this context the proposed design criteria by NBR 6118 (ABNT, 2003) have acceptable performance for spans studied in this work when exposed to walking.pt_BR
