Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis work consisted of assisting in the structuring of a manual of practical chemistry with alternative materials, which are included in content scripts classes for the three years of high school, which aims to assist teachers in conducting experimental classes, and students in chemistry approach to events in their daily lives. The work consisted in standardizing scripts classes developed by students of the project Pibid Chemistry, Pato Branco, in a standard format determined by the project coordinator for the operating practices, and when necessary adaptations and additions were made. The practices manual has twenty-one scripts with simple practical and quick, prioritizing the use of alternative materials and or easily accessible, which can be performed in some other classroom and in the laboratory depending on the complexity and equipment required for execution. The manual also includes suggested exercises and developed in order to enhance learning, with answers at the end of the manual. Practices were tested by pibidianos in order to make sure that they would work. At the end of the paper discussed the importance of experimental classes in the teaching of chemistry, which contextualize the knowledge gained from lectures.pt_BR
