Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe excessive and disordered generation of solid waste has been a constant issue and it needs to be controlled in the various sectors of society. Restaurants make up the list of solid waste generators establishments, by producing wide variety of waste, in its great majority organic waste and as such, it is necessary that there is a management of all produced waste. In this work course conclusion it was proposed a Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP) for a restaurant in Campo Mourão - PR, with the purpose to improve the property's solid waste management. The enterprise was analyzed in a period of seven days, quantifying and separating the generated waste. The restaurant's sectors presented disabilities such as absence of waste segregation, overload of waste collecting containers, inappropriate placement of dumpsters and failure to identify the same. To mitigate these disabilities, some measures were suggested such as: placement of collecting containers near the generating source of waste, waste separation, identification of waste dumps by the color code imposed by CONAMA, implantation of containers for storage and collection of recyclable and non-recyclable waste by the public collection and selection of the city. These measures help to control and minimize the generation of solid waste in the restaurant.pt_BR
