Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe construction industry is one of the industries that generate more waste, which highlights the need for a management done well, seeking to minimize the impacts that could be caused to the environment with inadequate allocation. Although there are laws and regulations, many municipalities have failed to adapt to this new reality and proposals for management of such waste have proved necessary. Faced with this, the objective of this work was to develop a proposal for management of construction and demolition waste for the city of Medianeira - PR which lacks this control, because during this study were identified 24 areas of irregular deposition of RCD. For this it was necessary to know the current status of construction and demolition waste generated in the municipality and propose sustainable solutions from CONAMA Resolution 307/02, which establishes guidelines, criteria and procedures for the management of construction waste. The city has two private companies responsible for collecting RCD, the volume of waste generated reaches 29.85 tons per day. By statistical analysis it was found that the residues generated in significantly greater amounts mortar and concrete are classified as Class A waste which can be reused or recycled as aggregates and applied in construction itself in various types of products. In this study, to facilitate the management of municipal RCD generated, they propose that the council makes available licensed areas for proper disposal of waste aiming to facilitate the segregation and recycling of such waste. It is presented at the end a proposal for installation of crushing station for the municipality take the waste recycled aggregate. With the implementation of proper management can reduce both the environmental impacts as costs.pt_BR
