Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to identify the reasons that lead people out of work and the impact of absences related to productivity and working relationships between colleagues and managers. This study demonstrated that the higher the rate of absenteeism, lower productivity of employees individually and collectively. The first occurs because the low esteem of those who feel hampered by the lack of colleagues and end up working too much and the latter evidenced by the number of tons produced each month. The reasons that lead people to be absent from work are the most diversified, however, exogenous to the company, that is, they occur in situations involving employees outside the company, however, the impact of the loss is entailed directly to it. The incentives offered internally to control the faults only minimize absences. It appears that when there are material or financial incentives, people avoid the faults in order to achieve the award, demonstrating greater commitment and dedication as development tasks that are part of daily routine. In this context, we seek to find ways to prevent people missing, so that they are reduced impacts on business productivity, as well as the dissatisfaction of employees from incentive programs in order to minimize this problem, avoiding some overhead and reduced production caused by these absences.pt_BR
