Resumo: dc.description.abstractWith the wide range of temperatures in Brazil, there is a wide variation in the rate of thermal comfort which can be understood as a psychological condition of well-being experienced by an individual at a particular location, as a result of satisfactory combination between factors humidity, relative air speed, ambient temperature, mean radiant temperature with the activity performed and used clothing.To this end, this study attempts to make a diagnosis of the current situation of the Copa Kitchen Sector from the Municipal Hospital Padre Germano Lauck located in Foz do Iguaçu – Paraná about the thermal comfort evaluated through heat stress measurements performed by a specialized company and questionnaires applied to employees, suggesting improvements if they were necessary. The results showed that the most employees of the Copa Kitchen Sector reported increased of the thermal sensation during the development of the work activities and the Copa Kitchen Sector allows the system of continuous work, according to current Brazilian legislation.pt_BR
