Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis study evaluated the potential ergonomic risk for cervical spine and upper limb activity of masons in bricklaying and also propose streamlining operational procedures in routine activity, aiming to minimize the risks of segments analyzed. The study was conducted at a construction site of small houses, where labor was outsourced and tasks studied were filmed and analyzed, after conducting cronoanálise. Mason was chosen for having good profile of productivity and good health. For risk analysis of musculoskeletal injuries was used RULA Methods and OCRA, being indicated by the ISO standard 11228-3 and European Standard EM 1005-5. The study was described as a case study, descriptive analysis of the type of work and cross. It was found that the potential risk for upper limbs by Method Checklist OCRA was greater for the right upper limb, but identified as light (red light). To the left upper limb Check List OCRA range indicated in yellow (very mild risk) and the difference between the right arm and the left arm is explained by the characteristics of the task, where the trowel remains retained by the dominant hand (right) during the entire cycle time. The choice of method RULA aimed to evaluate the posture of the cervical spine and the state score seven (7) demonstrated potential for high risk, requiring urgent intervention in the workplace. By making the study of potential risk, using a specific method for upper (Check List OCRA) and RULA to assess arms and also neck, trunk and legs, it was concluded that for the studied case the priority intervention fell on improvements postural risk for neck and torso. By biomechanical evaluations performed can suggest improvements and adjustments to the jobs they perform bricklaying.pt_BR
