Resumo: dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze the risks by applying the APR tool in implementing gabion wall, which are armed structures, flexible, draining and great durability and strength. Following suit FMEA methodology to assist the Specialized Safety Engineering and Medical Work in the risk management work of a company's infrastructure construction and engineering. This study was initiated after observing the activities of construction on a large project in southern Brazil and the probability of accidents in infrastructure works to be high, due to the diversity and uniqueness of the work in this economic sector. The difficulty in identifying in advance the risks to which their employees are exposed was the motivator to bring the FMEA, which is a tool of risk analysis is to identify gaps, risks and effects. Was applied in the technical field APR with a working group of the company to identify risks and a new form of FMEA was suitable for a future application, allowing the prioritization of risks and actions of the security sector through preventive actions to minimize the impact of a possible accident. There is an excellent method to identify hazards and risks, companies must seek to combine existing tools, getting the best possible information. It was concluded that the application of APR in the execution of a gabion wall is simple in the identification and prevention of accidents and mostly the risks that workers are exposed are moderated and relevant. After the adequacy of the methodology of FMEA risk assessment, it can be concluded that the proposal will assist in identifying risks and will allow a general diagnosis and consistent with the current risk of the company, but to verify the prevention and reduction of accidents and their costs, we need to create a system to implement and validate the appropriate tool and see how safe.pt_BR
