Resumo: dc.description.abstractSoil is a resource that is in a constant process of degradation, either by natural or anthropological consequences. The unpredictability of the natural consequences added to the impacts caused by human action make necessary measures to control and prevent even greater impacts. Considering that watersheds are defined as units of study and management, the use of tools to assist in the study of these areas becomes an important parameter for understanding the behavior of its dynamics. The CAESAR model was selected due to its simplicity of reduced complexity modeling. This study aims to assess the hydrological processes related to water flow, soil erosion and deposition on the Ribeirão Cambé watershed through CAESAR model. To this end, it was developed three different simulation scenarios (10dSusp, 10dNsusp and 30d), evaluating the flow slopes and precipitation periods and for the 30d scenario it was also evaluated the spatial distribution data of water flow velocity, variation in the watershed elevation (erosion and soil deposition) and water accumulation. The model has shown some limitations related to the interpretation of soil cover. Still, it was noted that the model presented values of maximum water flow, showing consistency and giving greater reliability for the other presented results. The model produced sufficient results to be used as a tool for initial research to better understand the behavior of the Ribeirão Cambé watershed and, from these results, further research in areas of interest for further studies in regions of greatest dynamic changes.pt_BR
