Políticas públicas e desenvolvimento local: estudo de caso do município de Juranda/PR

Abstract

The municipal development is a theme in stand out of the current reality, because it impacts in the population’s quality of life. The way in which public administration accomplishes its purposes and meets the demands of the community have also occurred through the development and implementation of public policies. In this context, this study aims to analyze the public policies of local development in the municipality of Juranda/Pr. For this descriptive methodology was used, being performed by means of literature and case study applied to the municipality of Juranda/Pr. It is clear, with the study, the municipality of Juranda to perform sector characteristics capable of providing municipal development, although it requires effective targeting of sectors with trends to evolution, as well as those who have delayed in relation to expected performance, especially such as socio-economic sector. There is also need for strengthening of municipal public administration for the preparation of plans and strategies that are able to account for particularities local. Thus, it is clear that there isn’t "a recipe" for the within it power of municipal development. But there is planning mechanisms which have the potential to enable the suitability of the local reality to municipal resources and to facilitate the search for alternatives to improve the existing situation and create optimistic future expectations. Therefore, the development is needed to improve the quality of life of the population of the municipality and contribute to the satisfaction of needs and attending citizen expectations.
