Resumo: dc.description.abstractThe substation automation systems have as main objectives the protection, control and supervision of the distribution systems of electric power. These systems are becoming larger, more dynamic and distributed, however, the diversity of solutions based on proprietary software and protocols of each manufacturer, often incompatible with each other, present difficulties for the expansion and evolution of these systems. The standardization then became a keyword for the development of connectivity and interoperability between systems and substation automation equipment. In this context, standards organizations such as IEC and EPRI developed, after a decade of work, the IEC-61850, which defines a set of technical requirements to allow systems and equipment from different manufacturers and technology generations communicate with each other. The standard applies object-oriented data models to describe properties and functionalities to be implemented and controlled, also defining a set of services for interaction between devices, however, the models are defined in an abstract way and not focus on implementation details related to the development process. This monograph presents a proposal for structuring and modeling of the base architecture for the development of substation automation systems compliant with IEC-61850, with a focus on details and aspects not specified in the standard. The proposed model was developed using a set of UML diagrams. The elaborated diagrams allowed to identify and analyze issues that were not detailed in the standard, promoting discussions on the feasibility of implementation and possible future enhancements of the proposed model.pt_BR
