Resumo: dc.description.abstract | With the society showing big concerns for the environmental problems that are shown by the media, but lack of actions and attitudes to reach those, is very important to have parameters and references to give them directions towards this so known problems. In Brazil there are two organizations with more certifications in process, itsLeadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and the High Environmental Quality (AQUA). The first is based on the north American equally named LEED, from the Green Building council, and the second is the Brazilian version of the French Haute Qualité Environnementale (HQE). Both give the consumer a reliable status of the building evaluated by their references and procedures. Into AQUA evaluation system it’s possible to have building certified in the following stages. First of all would be to certified the quality and standards pretended by the managers. After that it’s possible to have the architecture and complementary projects certified, so they will compare it with what was propose in the previous step,and if it is possible to be achieved. Next certificate possible is the construction it self, where it’s verified the materials and procedures utilized to building. Comparing it to the previous stages, checking if what was propose was attempt. The last stage to certified is the operation and use of the building, and it’s the subject studied into this research. This research is part of the AQUA – Operation and Use process that the Escritório Verde of Federal Technological University of Paraná - UTFPR, in Curitiba, PR, Brazil, is being submitted. This kind of certification is new in Brazil, and this Will be the first building certified. Collecting data in the building of Escritório Verde this research shows that the building studied has reached 40, from the maximum 62 points of excellence possible. The data needed was: potable water consumption, number of people using the building, reuse water consumption, water consuming points, wastewater points, measurement of different kinds of ground overlay, calculate impermeable coefficient, calculate surface overflow. Besides collecting these data, the paper suggests actions and procedures to improve and control these parameters along the lifetime of the building. The great results achieved by the Escritório Verde, 40 from 62 points of excellence, were due to the high quantity of different technics put together in one building. One of the results that overcame the expectations is the cosume of 1,29 L/per person.day. Especially when compare to the standard from the Sanitation Company of Paraná, that gives 50 L/per person.day as regular consume. | pt_BR |
